My name is Mel, I fellowship with Ohio Yearly Meeting (Conservative) of the Religious Society of Friends. (Quaker) This is where I post any longform content that I feel is meaningful enough to have its own place on the internet. It is my aim to discern and live out the will of Christ in my life in faithful obediance to Christ’s transformative power.
The faith that Christ has led me to is the very faith that Fox and the early friends were led to. I’ve laid out Friends Beliefs here
The faith of the friends before us was propelled by the daily walk in the power of Christ, this is not a mere coincidence that the discovery of direct mystical truth in its most complete form happened to fall onto a Christian background, it was Christ himself that propelled his church. I find it regratable that the Society has overall stepped away from Christ when it was he in the beginning who raised his people and shepherded them.
